Nanputuo Temple, or South Putuo Temple, is the most renowned and picturesque temple in Xiamen. Named after Putuo Mountain, a Buddhist sacred site, the temple is nestled at it's base. The peaceful grounds, surrounded by ponds and lotus flowers, offer a serene spot for a leisurely stroll.
